Recruitment across Asia keeps moving fast as 2026 draws to a close. AI is now part of everyday sourcing and screening. Teams are leaning on data to make sharper hiring calls.

Candidates expect more too. They want quick responses and a process that feels personal. Agencies that deliver both are the ones securing top talent.

In this October edition of the Atlas – Hoxo Elite 100, we turn the spotlight on Asia’s standout recruitment leaders. Some names have moved since our last ranking. Every recruiter here still represents the very best the industry has to offer. Their insights and conversations make them well worth following into 2027. As always, explore Hoxo if you want to grow your presence on social media.

Let’s take a closer look at our October 2026 recruitment leaders ranking:

How the Atlas x Hoxo Elite 100 Rankings Are Worked Out

The Elite 100 rewards recruiters who show up consistently with content that matters. One viral post won’t carry anyone onto this list. We look at LinkedIn audience size, posting consistency, engagement, comment activity and past performance. Together, these factors favour steady growth over time rather than short-lived spikes.

A Quick Refresher: How the Elite 100 Leagues Work

The list is split into four leagues of 25 recruiters. Each league has its own 1 to 25 ranking, and all four feed into the overall Elite 100. This structure lets us celebrate a broad mix of recruitment leaders while keeping the rankings clear and competitive. At its heart, the Elite 100 recognises recruiters who drive real conversations and raise the standard of content across the region.

What Asia’s Leading Recruiters Focused on in October 2026

Zachary’s Take on Turning Events Into Real Connections

Plenty of people walk into networking events with a polished pitch and walk out with nothing. Zachary’s post on landing a role in the UAE or KSA through networking tackles that problem head-on.

His advice is simple. Skip the “hire me” opener and ask people about themselves. Keep it casual and find one way to be useful. Then connect within 24 hours and follow up with more value within 48.

Zachary also reminds readers that you don’t need to be a master communicator to network well. For agency recruiters, the same approach builds trust with clients and talent across the GCC.

It’s a well-earned top spot in the Atlas League for a recruiter who makes networking feel achievable for everyone.

Han Explains How to Turn Down a Finalist the Right Way

“Not a fit.” For some finalists, that’s the only feedback they get after three rounds of interviews. Some get even less. Han’s post on rejecting finalists with care speaks to a moment every agency recruiter knows well.

As the person who usually makes that call, Han sees both sides. Losing a final round is normal at any level. What candidates hold onto is the silence. Left without answers, they fill in the blanks themselves and share their version with others.

In a market as small as Singapore, that matters. The finalist you went quiet on could appear on another shortlist next year, or even on your own.

His advice to hiring teams is clear. Pick up the phone and give one honest reason the candidate can learn from. When Han runs the search, he asks clients for that reason so he can pass on the truth. It’s a thoughtful, people-first perspective that earns Han the top spot in the Gold League.

Daryna’s Take on Making the Final Decision Easy

Reaching the final two and losing out is a frustrating place to be. Daryna’s post on what separates executive finalists explains why it happens so often at Director and VP level. When experience on paper looks similar, the final round comes down to smaller details.

Drawing on the executives she advises, Daryna highlights mistakes she sees again and again. Candidates talk about their past while the hiring team is thinking about year one. They answer every question but never ask a hard one, such as what the key goals are for the first 30, 60, and 90 days.

Her final point may be the most practical. Many candidates leave without saying they want the role. Daryna suggests closing with one sentence on why you want it and what you’d focus on first.

For agency recruiters prepping senior candidates, this is valuable coaching to pass on. It’s a sharp, useful post that earns Daryna the top spot in the Silver League.

Harriot on Looking Beyond the Job Title

Screenshot 2026-10-09 170046

A job title is often the easiest part of a CV to read. According to Harriot, it’s also one of the least useful ways to assess a leader. Her post on looking beyond the title makes a strong case for digging deeper.

Harriot has met Managers carrying Director-level accountability and Directors with far narrower roles than their titles suggest. Because titles vary so much from one business to the next, they show where someone sat rather than what they carried.

Her focus is on what a conversation can reveal. Who relied on them when things got difficult? What happened when something went wrong? One of her favourite questions sums it up: “What were you trusted with that never appeared in your job description?”

For agency recruiters, the message is clear. The right leadership hire is the person who has already carried the weight the business needs. It’s a thoughtful post that earns Harriot the top spot in the Bronze League.

Looking Ahead: What October’s Leaders Teach Us About Better Hiring

As October comes to a close, this edition of the Atlas x Hoxo Elite 100 shows how Asia’s recruitment leaders are thinking about hiring. Zachary shows how genuine curiosity turns networking events into real opportunities. Han reminds hiring teams that honest feedback protects reputations in tight-knit markets. Daryna and Harriot both look past the surface, whether that means helping executives win the final round or judging leaders by the weight they actually carried.

What connects them is a focus on real conversations. Each of them puts people at the centre of the process and thinks about the long term. They treat candidates with respect and look for substance over labels.

Their perspectives are pushing recruitment across the region towards a more honest and thoughtful way of hiring.

Asia’s Fastest-Rising Recruitment Voices This Month

Alongside the four league leaders, this edition also highlights the recruiters gaining ground fastest across Asia. The Top 10 Rising Recruitment Voices are ranked by net growth. Their progress comes from steady, regular posting rather than one viral moment. What unites this group is commitment. They keep showing up, and their audiences are growing as a result. Here are ten rising recruitment leaders in Asia to keep an eye on this October.
