Devyce integration for Atlas

The Devyce integration is available in Atlas today, and it gives each consultant a business phone line on their own mobile. Every call, text and recording made through that number logs against the matching record in Atlas. Transcripts feed Atlas Memory, and there is no second handset to issue. A conversation held between client visits leaves the same activity trail as one made from a desk.

What Devyce does

Devyce is a VoIP phone system built for recruitment teams. It runs as an app on whatever device a consultant already carries. Every plan includes unlimited global inbound calls and texts, plus an outbound allowance. There are no contracts. Numbers are available worldwide, and consultants keep their personal lines private. Existing UK mobile numbers can be ported in. Live call analysis and AI transcription sit on top. Devyce already connects to more than twenty CRMs, and Atlas is one of them. Support runs 24 hours a day.

What changes in your day

A new consultant starts on Monday and needs a number that clients can call back. Devyce gives them one on the handset already in their pocket. Their personal number stays personal, and the business line stays with the desk rather than the person. There is no hardware order and no desk phone waiting on a delivery date.

Return calls arrive at inconvenient moments, usually between client meetings. The call connects on the mobile, and it lands on the candidate's record in Atlas when it ends. Duration, direction and outcome are all there. Nobody has to remember it at seven that evening.

Text messages behave the same way. A candidate who will not answer a call will often reply to a text. That thread sits on the record with everything else. The next person to pick up the conversation can read what was said. Neither side needs the consultant's personal number for any of it.

Six weeks later, that candidate comes up on a different role. The recording and the transcript of that first call already fed Atlas Memory. Notice period, salary expectation and the reason they were looking are all on file. Anyone picking the record up next can hear the call rather than trust a summary. There is no note to write afterwards, which is usually the note that never gets written.

Some desks are barely in the building. A consultant running client visits all week works from the car and the client's reception. Their activity record used to depend on what they could reconstruct afterwards. Every call from those days now logs itself. A manager looking at the desk sees the real number of conversations, not the ones that survived being written up.

Half the team is on a desk somewhere and half is on the move. Calls from both arrive in Atlas in the same shape, against the same records. A shortlist shows who has actually been spoken to and who has not. Mobile activity stops being a second, invisible set of numbers.

How to turn it on

Turning it on takes something on each side. You need an active Devyce account with numbers assigned to your consultants. You also need admin rights in Atlas to authorize the connection. Consultants download the Devyce app on the device they already use, so there is nothing to install in the office.

After that, calls and messages log themselves and consultants carry on using their own phones. Adding or removing a consultant later is handled on the Devyce side. It sits with the other phone systems in the Atlas integrations directory. To have it enabled, or to see it working first, talk to Atlas support.

If you are working out the rest of the stack, the same write-up exists for RingCentral and Ringover.
