Broadbean integration for Atlas

Atlas connects to Broadbean, so jobs are distributed from the Atlas job record out to the Broadbean board network. Every applicant returns as a candidate record in the Atlas ATS rather than an email in a shared inbox. Applicant screening ranks them against the spec, and board performance is reported against placements. The connection is set up from the apps section of your admin portal.

What Broadbean does

Broadbean is job distribution and candidate attraction software. Its multi-posting tool sends one advert out to job boards, social channels and search engines. Around that sit media buying support, programmatic posting, and a diversity network of 19 boards aimed at under-represented candidates. Broadbean also reports on advertising spend, so agencies can see which sources return and which quietly absorb budget. It works with a range of ATS platforms rather than asking you to run your desk inside it.

What changes in your day

A consultant takes a brief on Tuesday morning and writes the advert on the job record itself. The spec and the client contact are already there. From the job description tab, it publishes out to the Broadbean network. There is no second tab and no copying the spec into a posting tool. Every board is reading the same wording. Posting becomes part of taking the job, not a separate task queued for whenever someone has a clear half hour.

Applications land back on the job record. They arrive in the Atlas ATS as candidate records, not as attachments in an inbox that nobody owns. Nobody downloads a CV, renames it, and files it somewhere searchable before the role can move. Everyone on the desk sees the same list. Two consultants do not call the same applicant on the same afternoon. What used to be a weekend of accumulated email is a list of applicants sitting against the role on Monday.

Volume advertising has always been a result and a problem at the same time. The wider the distribution, the more applications someone has to read. Atlas applicant screening ranks inbound candidates against the spec as they arrive. The consultant opens the strongest first and works down. The shortlist is ready before anyone has opened a CV. The rest stay on the record, and rejections go out the same day rather than whenever someone clears the list. A high-volume advert stops being a reason to post narrowly.

Then the spend conversation comes around, usually with a renewal attached. The source stays attached to the applicant through interview, offer and placement. Board performance becomes a report rather than a reconstruction from spreadsheets. You can see which boards produce candidates who get placed, and which ones produce volume. Boards that look busy and boards that bill are not always the same boards. That changes what you renew, and what you quietly let lapse.

How to turn it on

Setup runs from the apps section of your Atlas admin portal. Take your Broadbean credentials from your Broadbean application first, then open Broadbean in Atlas, enter them and connect. Broadbean requires a unique username for every person posting. Each consultant adds theirs under Settings, then personal settings, then the job board menu. After that, the publish option appears on the job description tab of any job. The step-by-step setup guide covers it in order. It sits with the other connections on the Atlas integrations page.

idibu and Microsoft Outlook are covered the same way on their own pages, if either is already on the desk.
