Aircall integration for Atlas
The Aircall integration is available in Atlas now. Recruiters dial candidates and clients straight from the record, and every call comes back with its recording, its outcome and its duration attached. Call content also feeds Atlas Memory, so the AI agents working your database can act on what was said. It sits with the other phone and message connections on the Atlas integrations page.

What Aircall does
Aircall is a cloud phone and customer communications platform. Calls, SMS and messaging run through one system, with a shared inbox so a team can see every conversation. Its AI assistants transcribe calls and analyze sentiment, topics and key moments. Managers get visibility into what happened without listening back to recordings. Aircall connects to over 250 other business tools. Getting set up does not require a developer.
What changes in your day
A consultant works down a shortlist late on a Friday afternoon. Every number on the record is a link, and one click dials it. Nothing gets copied into a handset, a browser tab or a softphone window. The call goes out from the screen the shortlist already lives on. That matters most on the calls nobody planned. A client moves an interview, and four candidates need telling before the end of the day. Both numbers on the record work the same way, mobile and switchboard.
The call ends and there is nothing to write up. The recording, the duration and the outcome are already on the candidate or client record. No pasted summary, no activity line half typed and abandoned when the phone goes again. A desk taking calls all morning usually leaves a trail of notes that say called, will chase. Those are the notes a manager reads back later and learns nothing from. Nobody reconstructs a week of calls on a Friday from a mobile call log.
One to ones tend to run on whatever both people remember. Call analytics from Aircall land against the same records the work sits on. Activity becomes measurable rather than reported. Coaching conversations change shape when the numbers are agreed before anyone sits down. So do activity targets, which are usually set from memory and generous about last week. It also shows which desks are on the phone and which are not, without anyone being asked.
A candidate mentions on a call that they will not move without a car allowance. Another says their notice period is longer than the client was told. Detail like that used to live in one consultant's head, or in a note that never got written. Call content feeds Atlas Memory, so the AI agents working your database have it too. When an agent acts on that record later, it is acting on what was actually said.
How to turn it on
Turning it on happens on our side, so there is no build for your team. You need an Aircall account with numbers assigned to the consultants who will be dialing, and admin rights in Atlas. Nobody on your side needs to be technical. Ask us through Atlas customer support and the connection is enabled for your workspace. If you are still evaluating Atlas, raise Aircall on the demo call. It can be switched on before your data is migrated, so consultants dial from records on day one.
If you are working out the rest of the stack, the same write-up exists for Devyce and RingCentral.
Aircall FAQ
Do consultants need to leave Atlas to make a call?
No. Numbers on a candidate or client record are click to dial, so the call starts from the record the consultant is already looking at. There is no separate window to find and no number to copy across.
Does the Aircall integration cost extra?
Your Aircall subscription stays with Aircall and is billed by them. What the connection means for your Atlas plan depends on how your workspace is set up. That is a question to settle on a demo call rather than guess at.
Are call recordings and outcomes saved on the record?
Yes. Calls are logged automatically, with the recording, the duration and the outcome attached to the candidate or client record. No consultant has to write a note for the call to appear, which is the point of the connection.
Does it cover client calls as well as candidate calls?
It does. Aircall calls log against whichever Atlas record they belong to, client or candidate. A BD call sits on the client record with the same recording and outcome detail as a candidate call.
Can managers use call data for coaching and activity targets?
Yes. Call analytics come back with the calls, so activity by consultant is visible without anyone compiling it. Managers use the same data for coaching conversations and for setting activity targets that reflect what the desk actually does.
Do we need a developer to set the integration up?
No. Aircall connects to other business tools without development work, and enabling it inside Atlas is handled by our support team. You need an Aircall account and admin rights in Atlas, nothing more.
