Microsoft Teams integration for Atlas

The Microsoft Teams connection joins Atlas to the meetings your consultants already run. The Atlas AI Note Taker joins Teams interviews and client calls and transcribes them. The transcript and a structured summary land against the right candidate or client record. Nobody writes the call up afterwards. Meeting content also feeds Atlas Memory and the AI agents. It sits with the rest of the Atlas integrations.

What Microsoft Teams does

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration and meetings platform. Consultants use it for video interviews, client calls, internal handovers, and the chat that surrounds all of them. On most agency desks it is already the default place a meeting happens. That is why it rarely appears on a shortlist of tools to review. It is simply where the day is spent. The interviews and BD calls that matter most to your billings run through it. The record of what was said usually does not survive them.

What changes in your day

A consultant runs a first stage interview over Teams while the client's brief is still open in another tab. The Note Taker is in the meeting. When the call ends, the transcript is already on the candidate's record. Nobody had to choose where it should go. The consultant closes the tab and takes the next call.

Client calls are where the damage usually shows up later. A consultant takes a catch up with a hiring manager and hears about a role nobody has signed off yet. None of it reaches the consultant covering that account next week. With the meeting captured against the client record, that context stays with the account rather than with one person's memory. The next consultant reads what was said, not a one line note that says good call.

Notes typed during a call are written by someone who is also trying to listen. What survives is half a page of shorthand that made sense at the time and does not by Thursday. A structured summary arrives instead, in the same shape after every call. That makes a shortlist review something a manager can read start to finish.

The value compounds after the meeting is over. Everything captured feeds Atlas Memory, so a candidate spoken to in March is not a blank record in September. The AI agents draw on the same content. The platform works from what was said on the call rather than from whatever a consultant found time to type.

Most consultants keep an hour at the end of the day for writing up. It is the first hour to go when a role goes hot. The write up then happens two days later, from memory, or it does not happen. Removing it changes the shape of the afternoon more than it changes the record. The calls an admin block would have squeezed out get made instead.

How to turn it on

Switching it on takes two things from your side. You need a Microsoft Teams account your consultants already sign in to. You also need admin rights in Atlas, so the connection can be enabled across the workspace. Enabling it is handled with the Atlas support team. They will confirm how meetings are matched to candidate and client records. It is worth doing before an interview heavy week rather than in the middle of one. If your desk also runs client calls over Teams, say so, since the same connection covers those.

If you are working out the rest of the stack, the same write-up exists for Zoom and Google Meet.
