Why Legacy Systems Were Holding the Team Back

Before moving to Atlas, Adam worked with Bullhorn and Vincere. While both were functional in their own ways, they lacked the speed, structure, and recruiter-first design the team needed to stay efficient.

“The tools we used in the past weren’t intuitive, and they weren’t AI-first,” says Adam. “They didn’t help us move fast or make smart decisions.”

Manual processes, layered interfaces, and limited automation meant consultants spent more time navigating the system than engaging with candidates and clients. Even the newest team members, familiar with these tools from previous roles, immediately noticed the difference once they began using Atlas.

Productivity was being held back not by a lack of effort, but by the limitations of software that wasn’t built for the way modern recruitment teams work.

Discovering a Platform Built for Recruiters

Attis was introduced to Atlas at a very early stage. A trusted advisor who knew the founding team suggested they take a closer look. At the time, the platform was still in its infancy, but even then, the potential was clear.

“We saw what it could become,” says Adam. “It didn’t have every feature yet, but it already felt like it was heading in the right direction.”

Rather than wait for a fully built product, the team decided to test it gradually. They started with business development cadences before transitioning to more critical workflows. Throughout that process, they provided regular feedback that helped shape early product decisions. What began as a trial quickly evolved into a central part of how the business operates.

A Smooth Start with a Clean Slate

When Attis decided to move fully onto Atlas, they made a strategic decision to start fresh. Their recent market pivot made data migration costly and unnecessary. Instead, they brought across only what mattered.

Onboarding was quick and seamless. No complex setup, no heavy lifting. The team signed in using their credentials and were up and running within minutes.

“We were expecting a drawn-out setup,” Adam explains. “But all I had to do was click a link, sign in, and we were good to go. It was incredibly slick.”

Rebuilding their data library was faster than expected, thanks to Atlas’s sourcing tools and sidebar. Adding records became a matter of a few clicks, not hours of admin. The result was a clean, focused workspace tailored to their current strategy.

Easy to Learn, Hard to Live Without

Change management can be tough, especially with recruitment tools that teams rely on every hour of the day. But for Attis, Atlas proved to be the exception.

The platform’s clean design and intuitive structure meant the team adapted faster than expected. There were no confusing menu layers or hidden features. Everything felt accessible and made sense from the start.

Compared to previous CRMs, the learning curve was shorter, and the benefits showed up faster. What began as a new tool quickly became the system the team relied on most. It gave consultants the structure they needed without adding friction, and that made all the difference.

We have a running joke now. People will ask, can you even remember life before Atlas?

Faster, Smarter Outreach Powered by AI

Getting tailored outreach out the door used to be a time-consuming task. Now, the team at Attis uses AI to move faster without compromising on quality. Whether preparing for a call, crafting a message, or summarising a candidate’s experience, the system helps turn internal knowledge into clear, confident communication.

One outreach message, powered by AI insights and lightly tailored by Adam, led to a new client relationship that resulted in seven placements and over $200,000 in revenue.

“The process of writing that message would’ve been slower and probably less impactful without the AI,” says Adam. “It helped us turn a hunch into something that landed.”

Because the messaging process is faster and easier, it happens more often. And that consistency is paying off in real business outcomes.

Turning Conversations into Client-Ready Reports

At Attis, every qualified candidate goes through a detailed screening process. The challenge was always turning that depth into a polished report without slowing down the workflow. Now, Atlas’s report writing features make it easy to create branded PDFs that showcase everything a client needs to know within minutes.

“We can put together a detailed front sheet, include the full CV, and send it out in five minutes,” Adam explains. “Before, that would have taken much longer and lacked the structure we have now.”

The team uses saved snippets to automatically pull key details like availability, location, salary expectations, and reasons for leaving. The result is consistent, professional output that reflects the quality of the work behind it. Clients no longer need to dig for context because the essentials are front and center from the start.

Less Tab Switching, More Doing

The team at Attis relies heavily on the Atlas extension to streamline their sourcing and outreach. Instead of jumping between platforms, consultants can add candidates, check CRM activity, assign contacts to projects, or build campaigns without ever leaving their browser.

This tight integration speeds up day-to-day tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency. It brings research and execution into the same space, which means fewer missed steps and more time spent on meaningful work.

“Atlas brings everything together,” says Adam. “We can source, add, and action straight from one place, and that makes a big difference to how efficiently we work.”

Capturing Every Detail Without Taking Notes

Whether it’s a screening call or a client conversation, Attis uses Atlas to capture the full picture without slowing anyone down. Every call, whether video or phone, is automatically recorded and transcribed, allowing the team to focus on the person they’re speaking with rather than scrambling to type notes.

This information isn’t simply stored in Atlas. It feeds into follow-ups, supports interview preparation, and ensures that everyone has access to the same, accurate context. It’s a central piece of how the team works smarter and stays consistent across the board.

Information is not scribbled in a notebook or half-typed during a call. Atlas captures everything, and that’s a big deal for us.

Seamless Sync with Calls and Finance

Attis uses Atlas alongside RingCentral for calls and Xero for accounting, with integrations that keep everything flowing smoothly. Phone calls are recorded and transcribed like video meetings, giving the team a full record of every conversation without any extra effort.

The Xero integration is newly enabled and expected to streamline financial workflows by reducing manual handoffs and cutting down on duplicate data entry. It’s part of a broader move toward a fully connected toolset where each system supports the others in real time.

Rather than dealing with unreliable call logs or mismatched notes, the team can trust that everything is captured accurately and made available in the right place, ready to support decisions, follow-ups, and reporting.

Staying Organized Without the Guesswork

With Atlas, the Attis team has more visibility into what’s happening across their workflow. From visual dashboards showing live candidate processes to Kanban views of the business development pipeline, consultants can quickly see what needs attention and where things stand.

Snippets and saved templates also help standardize key activities, like candidate submissions and client updates, so that quality stays high even as the team grows. These small efficiencies add up, removing friction and making it easier to focus on delivering value.

Everything is where we need it to be. Atlas is clean, clear, and keeps us moving.

More Output, Better Outcomes

Since switching to Atlas, the team at Attis has seen a noticeable lift in both productivity and performance. Candidate submissions are faster to prepare, more detailed, and more tailored to each role. That quality has translated directly into results.

Adam reports higher conversion rates from CVs to first interviews and a stronger return on the team’s outreach efforts. “We’re getting more candidates in front of clients and they’re moving forward more often,” he says.

The report writing feature has helped the team create front sheets that highlight each candidate’s relevance to the role, including motivators, experience, and non-negotiables. Combined with call transcripts and AI assistance, consultants are now delivering more value with less time spent on admin.

Advice for Recruiters: Don’t Wait

For Adam and the team at Attis, switching to Atlas was a strategic decision grounded in how they wanted to work and grow. They started as early users and became active contributors to the product’s evolution.

That vote of confidence came from firsthand experience. The platform didn’t only replace their old systems. It fundamentally changed the way they work.

“Do it. Do it now,” says Adam. “The longer you leave it, the further behind you’ll be.”

From speed to support to innovation, the team sees Atlas as more than a CRM. It’s become part of their competitive edge and something they’re glad they didn’t wait to adopt.
