Loxo Pricing 2026: What Sourcing Credits Add, and What Users Report

The bottom line

Loxo publishes its seat prices. Loxo pricing starts at $149 per user per month on Core and $199 on Professional, both billed annually. Enterprise is quoted. The published figure does not settle your total, because Professional meters agent work in credits. The multipliers that raise that allowance are priced by the account team, not listed. Reviewers rate the platform highly and question its value in the same breath. It holds 4.6 on G2 and 4.5 on Capterra.

Last reviewed: August 2026.

What changed in Loxo’s pricing this year

For most of its life, the answer to what Loxo cost was a form. That has changed. The company now lists two seat prices and quotes only the enterprise tier. That moves the question away from what is this, and onto what your configuration comes to. A published rate gives you an anchor, and an anchor is what makes a like-for-like comparison possible.

It also introduces a second meter. The Professional tier carries an allowance of credits per seat. Credits are consumed as the agentic workforce completes work. That allowance is the part of the bill that moves with how hard your desks run. A price list is progress. It is also the beginning of the arithmetic rather than the end of it.

How much does Loxo cost per user?

Loxo costs $149 per user per month on Core and $199 on Professional. Both are billed annually and paid up front. Enterprise is a custom annual agreement with no published figure.

The gap between the two published tiers is the decision most agencies are actually making. Core is the ATS and recruiting CRM, with natural language search included. Loxo Source sits on Professional, alongside the full agent workforce and API access. An agency that came to Loxo for sourcing is pricing Professional whether it planned to or not. Across fifteen desks, that $50 difference per seat is $9,000 a year.

Both published cards carry a new customer limited time offer label. Treat them as the current rate, not a permanent one. Our review of Loxo as an ATS and CRM covers how the talent intelligence platform fits together.

What do sourcing credits add to the bill?

Credits are Loxo’s meter for agent work. Every Professional seat carries 2,500 a month, pooled across the team and refreshed in full each cycle. Loxo states that unused credits do not carry over. When 2,500 per seat is not enough, the company sells Boost multipliers. That is the line the pricing page does not price.

What a credit buys is worth pinning down in the demo. Loxo describes a full market search as its Longlist agent screening roughly 10,000 candidates. Shortlist then ranks the best across seven dimensions. The company says you consume credits only when work is completed. The same page notes that all capacity figures shown are figurative and standard usage may vary. That is the sentence to carry into a negotiation.

Metered lines are where software budgets slip. In the past year, 78% of IT leaders reported unexpected charges tied to AI features or consumption-based pricing. Another 61% cut projects because of unplanned SaaS cost increases.

One piece of vocabulary causes real confusion in quotes. Boost means two things at Loxo. On the pricing page it is the credit multiplier above. As a product, Loxo Boost is programmatic job advertising across more than 30,000 job sites, funded from a budget you set. Ask which one a line refers to.

Which costs sit outside the headline seat price?

Migration, integration work, job board spend and the annual uplift all sit outside the seat rate. Only one of them is published. Loxo makes migration free for Core teams of three or more seats, with guided self-serve tooling below that. Complex migrations, including Professional and Enterprise, are scoped as fixed packages before you sign. The number exists but is not public, so get it in writing before signature.

The renewal uplift has the largest long-term effect and no published value at all. Reviewers report one:

Contract structure matters as much as the rate. Annual plans are paid up front, which is a cash-flow decision as well as a pricing one. An annual commitment also removes your leverage at renewal, in the same signature that earns the discount. That exposure is not hypothetical. SaaS inflation reached 16.4% in June 2026, the highest monthly rate Vertice has recorded. A quote with no written cap inherits that market.

Very expensive for what the platform delivers, w/ 5% increases every yr and high integration costs

What does Loxo cost at 15 seats over three years?

Fifteen Professional seats cost $35,820 in year one at the published rate. Apply the 5% annual increase reviewers report, and three years comes to roughly $112,923. That is before a single Boost, migration package or job board pound. Those fifteen seats pool 37,500 credits a month between them.

Read the ratio rather than the total. Year one is about 32% of the three-year commitment. Year three runs roughly 10% above year one on the reported uplift alone. The lines marked not calculable cannot be derived from public information. That is the honest limit of any outside estimate. Your quote will differ. The shape of it will not.

Do reviewers rate Loxo well in 2026?

Loxo holds 4.6 out of 5 from 169 reviews on G2, and 4.5 from 133 reviews on Capterra. Both were checked in August 2026. Those are strong scores, and the praise behind them is consistent. Reviewers describe consolidation first and interface second.

G2 groups its most cited positives as an intuitive interface, responsive support, time-saving automation and seamless integrations. Each appears across dozens of reviews. The direction of travel on bundling shows up too, which matters when comparing last year’s quote against this year’s:

One caveat for anyone buying at scale. On G2, the large majority of reviewers are tagged Small-Business. Capterra’s recent reviewer profiles skew to agencies in the 2 to 10 employee band. The scores are real. They describe a smaller desk than an enterprise operation runs.

Loxo helps eliminate tool fatigue and reduce operational overhead by consolidating our ATS, CRM, and sourcing stack into one high-performing platform.

There’s not a lot not to like, there are extra features which can add significant cost, but they are making many features standard now.

Dan H, Director, Small-Business, September 2025 · G2

Where do reviewers push back on value?

The complaint that recurs across both platforms is value at utilization. Reviewers who run the full platform defend the price. Reviewers who use part of it do not. That split is the most useful signal in the review corpus, because the variable is your adoption rather than the rate card.

G2’s aggregated dislike themes put limited customization at the top with 12 reviews. Confusing candidate management changes and email reliability follow at 9 each, with 8 reviews grouped under finding Loxo expensive. Reporting depth is the other recurring theme, and it lands hardest on business development:

That point deserves weight if you run a warm desk. An agency measuring BD activity and deal stages may keep a second system alongside the platform it bought to remove second systems. That quietly undoes the consolidation case the price depends on.

Loxo is on the pricier side so if you are not going to use it to the fullest of it’s capabilities, it might make more sense to check out other options.

It doesn’t really function as a true CRM, so when it comes to managing the sales process, we have to keep track of that outside of Loxo.

How should you compare Loxo pricing against your current stack?

Build the comparison in your own spreadsheet before the second sales call, priced per seat and per month. List every tool a recruiter touches in a normal week, with its monthly cost. Mark which lines the bundle genuinely retires, and which you keep paying for regardless. Add implementation, migration, configuration and training as a one-time year-one figure. Divide by seats, then model years two and three at the vendor’s stated uplift. Our software evaluation template gives you the scoring structure.

Most agencies have never written that list down, which is why bundle math so often flatters the bundle. In Atlas research with more than a thousand agency recruiters, 56.16% described their technology setup as functional but fragmented. Somewhere in every agency is a tool bought for one search two years ago that still bills monthly.

The output is a cost per recruiter that sits next to billings per recruiter. That is the comparison a finance director will engage with. It also exposes the quiet failure mode, where a cheaper platform loses in adoption what it saved on paper. A system nobody updates produces a database nobody trusts, and a fragmented recruitment tech stack caps output long before headcount does.

Can you negotiate a better Loxo contract?

Negotiate the meter and the renewal, not the seat rate. A published price is the least movable number in the quote. Everything Loxo does not publish is where the room actually is. Take these asks in writing:

The last of those is winnable, and a reviewer documents the trade:

  • The renewal cap as a fixed percentage, written into the contract rather than indexed to anything
  • The Boost price per seat, and what changes if you resize it mid-term
  • What a credit costs once the pooled allowance runs out, and whether any balance carries
  • The migration package as a fixed figure, quoted before signature rather than after
  • The rate at the next license threshold in both directions, including seat reductions mid-term
  • Whether contact data lookups consume credits when the number returned is wrong
  • Month-to-month terms, and what premium they carry against the annual rate

They strongly encourage annual contracts, but small business customers and startups definitely prefer month to month flexibility. I was able to negotiate month to month at a higher price.

Saad M, Founder, Defense and Space, August 2024 · Capterra

Where is Loxo still the better choice?

Loxo is the better choice for an agency that will genuinely retire several subscriptions at once. If moving cancels a sourcing license, a contact data tool, an outreach sequencer and a notetaker, the bundle math works in your favor. That is the scenario the tier was built for, and it is a real one.

It also suits teams that want a number to budget against without a sales cycle. The seven-day trial gives full Professional access with no credit card. Test the credit allowance against your own live roles, not a demo role the vendor picked. Agencies running a consolidated perm workflow at small to mid scale are the clearest fit.

It fits less comfortably in a BD-heavy operation with deep reporting needs. The same goes for a search firm whose niche the talent graph covers thinly. Settle both with five real searches you filled last year, not with a feature grid.

How is Atlas structured differently?

The structural difference is where the meter sits. Pricing is per seat. Modules are not sold separately, and no capability sits behind its own quote. There is no automatic annual uplift written into the contract, and contract length is agreed per deal. That is the design behind Atlas, an AI-powered CRM and recruitment platform that uses agentic AI to take admin off the desk.

In practice that removes the two variables this page has spent most of its length on. People Search puts email and phone data natively inside the platform, so contact discovery is not a separate meter. AI agents handle data entry and candidate follow-ups in the background. The AI-powered CRM syncs contacts and parses every resume on arrival. Fewer priced lines means fewer places for a quote to move after signature.

Consolidation only pays when a platform removes work instead of relocating it. Chris Garfield of Garfield Stephens ran about seven software contracts around his CRM. After moving to Atlas, his agency reported 80% less time on CV formatting and a 200% rise in role capacity. Client reporting gave back three to four hours a week. The Atlas and Loxo comparison sets the two out side by side.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs) on Loxo pricing and reviews

Does Loxo publish its pricing?

Yes. Loxo publishes two seat prices, $149 per user per month for Core and $199 for Professional. Both are billed annually. Enterprise is a custom agreement with no published figure, and Boost credit multipliers are sized by the account team. Two of the three tiers carry a public rate, and the metered lines do not.

What is included in Loxo’s 2,500 credits?

Every Professional seat carries 2,500 credits a month, pooled across the team and refreshed each cycle. Unused balance does not carry over. Credits meter the work the AI agents complete, including longlisting, shortlisting, outreach and contact lookups. Loxo notes its capacity figures are figurative, so ask for a worked estimate against your own search volume.

Is Loxo expensive compared with other recruitment platforms?

It sits in the upper mid-range on published seat price. Reviewers describe value as a function of utilization rather than rate. Agencies that retire several subscriptions tend to defend the cost. Teams using a fraction of the platform tend to call it expensive. Price it against the tools it actually replaces on your card.

Does Loxo offer a free trial?

Loxo offers a seven-day trial with full Professional access and no credit card required. That includes Loxo Source and the agent workforce. The window is long enough to run several real searches through the credit allowance. Use roles you filled in the last year, including one genuinely difficult search.

What do Loxo reviews say about support and reporting?

Support draws praise more often than criticism, appearing among G2’s most cited positives across dozens of reviews. Reporting is the more common complaint. Limited customization is G2’s single largest dislike theme at 12 reviews. Agencies with heavy client reporting requirements should test that workflow before signing.

Is Professional worth the extra over Core?

It depends on whether you need Loxo Source. Sourcing and the agent workforce sit on Professional, while Core is the ATS and CRM with AI search. The difference is $50 per seat per month, or $9,000 a year across fifteen desks. If you are keeping a separate sourcing subscription anyway, Core plus that tool may price better.

What the seat price actually buys back on the desk

Loxo pricing is answerable now in a way it was not a year ago. The published rate is a real improvement for anyone building a business case. The work that remains is yours. Separate what the bundle retires from what it merely sits beside. Then hold every unpublished line to the same standard as the seat price.

The number worth watching is not the rate. It is what a recruiter’s week looks like once the admin has gone. Calls made instead of records updated. Client reports produced in a click rather than over a Thursday morning. Atlas was built around that shift, and it shows up in billings per recruiter rather than in a feature grid. Worth a look when you next map cost per seat against what your team gets back.
